Copy trading and multi-account management for MT5

Copy trading your dealing desk can stand behind.

Mirror copies every provider trade to every follower on your own MT5 server the moment it happens: in about a tenth of a second, exactly once, and with every size, fee and decision written down in plain words.

The Mirror Desk: status in one line, what needs a decision, and every provider trade with how many followers copied it and how fast.
The Desk: is everything fine, what needs you, and every provider trade as it is copied.
~0.1 smedian time from a provider's trade to the follower's fill
400follower trades placed in under one second
~5 sfor the standby server to take over if one fails
Weeklybackups restored and checked automatically

Measured on a broker's MT5 demo server and Mirror's own test environment, 2026.

Why Mirror

Built for the moments that cost brokers money.

Copy trading looks simple until a connection drops mid-session, a trade is copied twice, or a client asks why they were charged. Mirror is built around those moments.

Live, not polled

Mirror reacts to each trade the moment MT5 books it, over two independent connections. It does not check in every few seconds and hope nothing was missed. If a connection drops, what happened meanwhile is replayed when it returns.

Exactly once

Every copy carries its own key from the moment it is planned. Through reconnects, restarts and a server taking over, a follower trade is placed once, never twice, and never silently dropped.

Every number explained

Why did this client get 0.21 lots? Why was this fee 82.04? Mirror keeps the inputs of every calculation and shows the working, so support answers a client in one click instead of a ticket to IT.

Nothing done behind your back

A trade that reaches Mirror late is held for a dealer to decide, not copied at a stale price and not quietly skipped. Automatic corrections only ever reduce exposure; anything else waits for a person.

The product

One place for the dealing desk, support and administration.

Each team sees what it needs first. Statuses read as sentences, numbers are checkable, and colour only appears when something means it.

Why this size? Every copy, with the calculation worked out from the figures Mirror used at that moment, down to the comment on the MT5 trade.
Why this fee? Each fee with the trade it came from, the terms that applied, any losses offset, and the MT5 ticket it was posted as.
A client on the phone? Their account, what they copy now, what to tell them, and their day in plain sentences.
Who copies whom, right now. One row per account, searchable, with what is paused or needs attention a click away.
Reports that reconcile with MT5. Seven reports built from what MT5 booked, with saved views and CSV or Excel export.
Inside your client area. Clients choose a provider, see what their trades would look like in lots and what it costs, then pause or stop when they like.

Before you choose

Questions to ask any copy-trading platform.

These are the questions that separate a demo from a system you can run a book on. Here is how Mirror answers them.

What happens to a trade made while the connection is down?
It is replayed the moment the connection returns, and a second, independent connection usually means there is no gap at all. If it arrives too late to copy at a fair price, a dealer decides; it is never copied stale without asking.
Can a follower trade ever be placed twice?
No. Each copy is keyed before it is sent, and an answer lost in transit is checked against MT5 before anything is sent again.
How quickly does a trade reach a thousand followers?
The median follower is filled in about a tenth of a second; four hundred follower trades went through in under one second on a live demo server.
What if a server fails during the trading day?
A second server on separate hardware is already running and takes over in about five seconds. If a server can still run but loses MT5, it steps aside for the one that can trade.
Can you show a client exactly why they got this size and this fee?
Yes, from the stored figures, in plain words: the balances used, the ratio, the rounding to the symbol's step, the profit, the offer and any losses carried forward.
Do you confirm every fee actually landed in MT5?
Every fee is matched to its MT5 deal. A refused posting is shown and can be retried; a posted fee can be reversed, with a reason, by a senior administrator.
Can we try it on our real trades before switching?
Yes. Mirror runs alongside your current system, plans every copy and sends nothing, and reports the difference every day. You switch one provider at a time when you are satisfied.
Who can change what, and is it recorded?
Support, Dealer and Super Admin roles, enforced on the server; authenticator sign-in; and an audit log of every change with who, when, before and after, that nobody can edit.

Features

Everything a broker's copy-trading desk needs.

Copying

  • Eight ways to size a copy: same lots, fixed lots, a multiplier, in proportion to balance, equity or free margin, or by the money at risk at the stop loss
  • Direct or reverse copying; symbol and direction filters; minimum and maximum volumes
  • Stops and targets follow the provider's, and their changes
  • Partial closes and adds followed position by position
  • Symbol mapping between differently named instruments, with a test button
  • Choose what happens to open positions when a client starts, pauses or stops

Risk

  • Eleven measures, from drawdown and floating loss to exposure per symbol
  • Six actions, from an alert to closing every copy, each optionally followed by unsubscribing
  • Limits checked before a copy is placed, not only after
  • A rule acts once, then waits for a person to re-arm it

Offers and fees

  • Registration and performance fees, per offer
  • Charge each trade's profit, or carry losses forward with a high-water mark
  • Every change of terms is a new version; clients keep the terms they joined on
  • Every fee matched to its MT5 deal, retried if refused, reversible with a reason

Running the desk

  • Subscribe one account or many at once: by CSV, MT5 group or template
  • Scheduled starts, pauses and expiries, rechecked when they fire
  • Alerts in the app and by email, owned, commented and resolved
  • The full client list from MT5, kept up to date: 325,000 accounts read in 34 seconds
  • Notes on every client, provider and subscription

Reports and records

  • Subscriptions, providers, trades, clients, fees, exceptions and audit reports
  • Saved views, chosen columns, CSV and Excel, in your time zone
  • Every trade's full story: provider and follower tickets, prices, times, who closed it
  • Records kept for good: older detail moves to a locked archive, totals stay in the reports

Your CRM and your clients

  • A documented API with secure server-to-server access and a typed SDK
  • Signed webhooks for every copy, close, fee and risk action, with retries and a delivery log
  • Ready-made client widgets in English, Arabic (right to left) and Russian, in your colours
  • A sandbox with a simulated market for your developers to build against from day one

Switching

Move over without closing a single client trade.

Switching copy-trading systems is usually the riskiest part. Mirror turns it into a series of small, reversible steps.

  1. Import. Your existing subscriptions come across from your current system's export, with their sizing, filters and offers, as drafts.
  2. Shadow run. For one to two weeks Mirror follows your live trades, plans every copy, sends nothing, and reports the difference every day.
  3. Switch one provider at a time. At a market close, Mirror takes over a provider's open copies where they are. Nothing is closed and reopened.
  4. At your pace. Until a provider is switched, its followers are untouched. You decide when each one moves.

Operations and security

Run like the trading system it is.

Your own environment

Every broker gets a separate, isolated installation, close to its MT5 server, with its own database and fixed addresses for your whitelist.

Two servers, always

Each copying server reads MT5 on its own connection; if one fails, the other carries on within seconds.

Tested backups

Every week the latest backup is restored to a fresh database and checked, automatically. If it ever fails, you hear about it.

Watched around the clock

Connections, copy delays, quiet providers, refused fees and every server's health raise alerts the moment they matter.

No plugin on your server

Mirror works through MT5's Manager API with its own logins. Nothing is installed on your trading server.

Access you control

Roles enforced on the server, authenticator sign-in, sessions that expire, strict browser security, and an audit log that cannot be edited.
